The 20th anniversary re-release of the draw-your-character RPG, in a 50-page edition fully illustrated by an army of artists and players ranging from four year-olds to professional illustrators.

Now it's time for you to join in the fun: Pack your pencils and prepare for a journey to the heart of the universe: the planet Sketch, where good and evil are locked in constant struggle with fame and fortune hanging in the balance!

Forget rolling dice, spending points, or making a list of words--in SKETCH! you make your character by drawing them! Anyone can make a great character regardless of their artistic skill, with rules to help boost amateur artists, clip art they can use to buff up their stick figures, and coloring-page character sheets that can save players from the terror of the blank page.

Once you've got your character, SKETCH! provides 50 pages of a simple role-playing game and combat system, as well as an entire world for your adventures. Gamemasters are handed the keys to the Sketch Adventure Generator, which can generate countless adventures (as long as you can't count past 20, 768.)

SKETCH! was first released as a comic-sized softcover by Corsair Publishing in 2000, and returned for a limited 15th anniversary release in 2016 to fans who had been asking for an electronic version. Now, for the 20th anniversary, creators Seth Johnson and Brian Schomburg have collaborated to not screw up everyone's good memories by creating the long-threatened #2 Edition and instead posted the original game here for a new generation of players to find and start scribbling up some adventures.

Character sheets are included in the rulebook, but are also provided here as separate downloads for your convenience. (Characters can also be drawn on scrap paper, cardboard boxes, and stretched canvases, but please don't draw on your walls without asking your parents first.)
